HEUI diesel injection depends on more than fuel pressure.

HEUI Uses Two Hydraulic Systems
A simplified HEUI architecture is:
Fuel Supply → Injector Fuel Circuit
and separately:
Engine Oil → High-Pressure Oil Pump → Actuation Circuit → Injector
Both systems must function.
Why Fuel Pressure Can Mislead Diagnosis
If technicians confirm:
- fuel tank supply;
- filter condition;
- feed pressure;
they have verified only one part of the system.
